We developed a scalable, real-time dashboard using Django and AWS to enhance efficiency in the construction industry by collecting and displaying data from construction sites nationwide.

In the construction industry, it is crucial to collect real-time data from construction sites. This is important not only for carrying out work more efficiently but also for identifying potential problems before they lead to delays or cost overruns. In light of this need, an innovative startup in the construction sector approached us with the task of developing an advanced dashboard. This dashboard serves as a central platform for displaying collected data from various construction projects, enabling project managers and other stakeholders to make crucial decisions based on current information.

To meet this challenging request, we chose to develop the dashboard using Django (Python 3). Django is known as a robust and versatile web framework, enabling developers to quickly and structurally build professional web applications. An additional advantage of Django is its compatibility with Python, a language with which the client was already familiar. This allows them to independently carry out future modifications and expansions, ensuring a flexible and future-proof system.

For the collection and processing of data from measuring stations across the country, we chose Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our cloud provider. AWS offers a wide range of services that perfectly meet our requirements for hosting, storing, and processing large amounts of data. We used EC2 instances to run the application, S3 buckets for storing raw data, RDS for database management, and Load Balancers to optimize performance during peak loads. This combination of technologies enables us to build a robust and scalable system that reliably operates under various operational conditions.

The design and development of the dashboard were carried out with utmost care, focusing strongly on scalability and user-friendliness. We are convinced that this dashboard will have a revolutionary impact on how the construction industry collects, analyzes, and uses operational data. It enables companies to streamline their processes, increase productivity, and proactively address problems before they escalate.
